Retranslate and Rescrape Chapters

If a translation reads wrong, or the original source content is broken, you can fix a chapter yourself.

Retranslate a Chapter

  1. Open the Translated tab.
  2. Click Retranslate, in the center of the chapter navigation buttons.
  3. Wait 10–20 seconds, depending on chapter length.

Retranslation currently runs on Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite.

Retranslate a Paragraph

Faster than redoing a whole chapter, for a single line that reads off.

  1. On the Translated tab, tap the paragraph.
  2. Click Retranslate in the small popup beside it.
  3. The paragraph is re-translated and swapped in place in a couple of seconds.

It runs through the chapter's glossary, so names, places and gendered pronouns stay consistent. Available on Reader tier and up.

Rescrape a Chapter

Use this when the original content is wrong or missing. Rescraping pulls fresh content from the source and then retranslates it automatically.

  1. Open the Original tab.
  2. Click Rescrape, in the same spot as Retranslate.

Daily Allowances

  • Retranslation and rescrape share the same daily chapter allowance.
  • Paragraph retranslation has its own, larger daily allowance.

See Pricing & Tiers.

Your Reading Progress Is Safe

A full-novel rescrape re-fetches the entire chapter list, but reading positions — yours and everyone else's — are snapshotted first and re-bound to the new chapters afterward. If the chapter you were on no longer exists, you land on the latest available chapter instead of the start.

These all act on one chapter. For a whole book or a large stretch of chapters, ask the mods on Discord to schedule a mass rescrape or retranslation.
