Codex is an AI-powered feature that generates character wikis and lets you chat with characters from your favorite novels.
Wiki Generation
Codex automatically creates wiki pages for characters and key entities (places, factions, items) found in a novel. Each wiki entry includes:
- A summary of the character or entity
- Key traits, relationships, and events
- Chapter citations so you can trace information back to the source
Wiki pages update as new chapters are translated, keeping the information current.
AI Chat
Talk to characters from any novel on the platform. The AI uses context from the novel's content to stay in character and give relevant responses. Use it to:
- Ask a character about their motivations or backstory
- Explore "what if" scenarios
- Get a refresher on plot points from a character's perspective

Limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC. Unused quota rolls over within the month. Chat and wiki counts are tracked separately.

- Navigate to any novel page
- Open the Codex tab
- Browse generated wikis or start a chat with a character
